Supply Holder

Prompt

I was asked to design and manufacture a supply holder for mHUB, a makerspace in Chicago, IL. The product must be easy to make with the tools in their makerspace, and able to fit the various supplies that may be stored in it.

Design

The product is made of two pieces of laser-cut and bent acrylic. Clear and colorful acrylic are used to create the illusion of floating. The tool slots are in various sizes for each level, allowing many types of tools to be stored. The basic design can then be replicated in different sizes and slot configurations, which creates adaptability while establishing a consistent product.
